Ken is a true Florida native, born on the east coast of Florida in West Palm Beach.  Subsequent family moves took him to Fort Pierce, Cocoa and on to Greenville, South Carolina where he spent his teenage years. College and career opportunities necessitated further moves; back to native Florida (Margate and Ft. Myers) then on Ohio and even further north to Michigan!

Ken began building a solid background with Household International in banking and finance in 1976 where he spent 10 years.  Continuing to build upon this skill set, he focused on mortgage lending and spent the next 8 years running mortgage operations for both mid-size and large national mortgage banking firms. 

Cutting loose from the traditional corporate world, Ken discovered that he truly enjoyed working with the consumer and went on to build a successful mortgage banking business in Michigan for 16 years.  Being one of the top producing sales persons in the greater Detroit market with annual originations totaling over $100 million, he had the opportunity to work with a wide range of real estate buyers and sellers. 

Fed up with the cold/gray weather, Ken and his wife, Sue, moved to Florida in 2000 settling in Punta Gorda.  Ken continued his career in mortgage banking, opening a Florida office while he continued to service his Michigan clientele. 

With the shift in mortgage lending guidelines and  knowing the challenges that face todays buyers and sellers, Ken possesses the skill and background to navigate through the entire real estate process.

Moving his thirty four years of financial skills and knowledge of real estate financing to the local Punta Gorda real estate sales industry was a natural transition.  A valuable asset to our Team, Ken possesses a thorough understanding of real estate and finance.  Let him put his background and knowledge to work for you!
