Little Bokeelia Island Sold

Little Bokeelia Island… SOLD!

20.07.2015 in Events, Market Update

Sorry, you missed your chance! Our island has officially sold!

Listed in May of 2012 for $29.5 million, this little slice of paradise sold Wednesday of last week for $14.5 million dollars. Listing agents Jennifer Calenda and Klaus Lang are thrilled for both the sellers and the buyers! Michael Saunders and Company is proud to have represented the buyer and seller in this transaction.

For those of you who don’t know about the island, here’s a quick recap: Little Bokeelia is a 100+ acre island off Florida’s sunset coast. It is home to a Spanish-style estate home built in 1928 by Charles Burgess, old Florida village homes, and an abundance of tropical plants and wildlife. Though the island is secluded- only to be reached by boat or helicopter, it is not far off from the rest of the world where you can do your shopping!

All who have set foot on the beaches of Little Bokeelia Island, can certainly attest to its surreal charm, and the tranquil, peaceful feeling you get as soon as you step off the boat.

Buyer Mark Pentecost of Sarasota, Florida, and Founder of “It Works!”, is excited to start making memories on his new paradise island! We just love happy endings!
