Press Release of The Needs Of

The Homeless Coalitionhomeless

The time is approaching for the holidays and the need in Charlotte County is growing.  We are asking for the community’s assistance. Your donation will make a difference in a family celebration this holiday season. The Homeless Coalition is one of the locations where residents from the county can seek food for the holidays.

We are need of the following items: hams, non-perishable items such as stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams, instant potatoes, rolls/ biscuits, juice, gravy, pie fillings, pie crust, canned vegetables & coffee.

Last year the The Homeless Coalition served over 500 families through our weekly food pantry during the holiday season. We are reaching out to the community for support. Our food pantry is in need of Holiday Sides items.

We will be distributing these meals next Monday, November 21st. Feel free to drop off your donations at 1476 Kenesaw Street in Port Charlotte.  For more information contact Alecia at 941-627-4313, extension 119
